What kinds of cups/mugs can I print on?

Any ceramic, glass, alluminum, stainless steel or plastic cup or mug can be printed on. We can also print your designs on neoprene and foam drink koozies as well.

What is dye sublimation?

Dye sublimation is the process of solid dye particles changing into gas using heat and pressure that bond with a polymer and change back into a solid. A true sublimation transfer is one that you cannot feel the transfer on the item and it will outlast any other type of decorating technique. When the dye sublimation inks are heated up and turned into a gaseous state somewhere around 370-400 degrees Fahrenheit, they are absorbed into the molecules of polymer and actually dye the item. Therefore, the sublimation inks actually become part of the item rather than being glued to the surface of the item like screen printing does.

Do you offer screen printing?

Yes, we are able to screen print on certain types of mugs and cups. Please contact one of our sales representatives to inquire what we can and cannot screen print on.

Which is better, screen printing or sublimation?

Using the sublimation process will yield the highest resolution and most color options. Sublimation generally needs to be printed on a lighter colored object than what the design is. If you wish to print on a dark or black surface, screen printing may be the better option, but limits the number of colors used.

Am I limited on colors?

No, our sublimation printing method allows you to use as many colors as you wish. Screen printing your cups or mugs limits your number of colors from millions to a few.

Can you match PMS colors for screen printing?

PMS colors are designed for paper ink to be placed on white stock. You may indicate what PMS color you would like and we can try our best to match it as close as possible.

What happens if the color isn't exactly what I viewed online?

Colors may vary depending on your computer monitor. The colors will be close, possibly varying by a shade or tint of a color. If you are interested in having a printed color chart sent to you please email us.

How do I know the correct print dimensions?

Print dimensions are really dependent on the size and style of the cup or mug. Broken Arrow's art department can help you size your design for the look you are trying to achieve.

Where can I print my design?

Your design can be printed on the main body of the cup or mug. We are unable at this time to print on the handle or inside the cup or mug. If you have a special request please email a representative.

Can I get a product sample?

Yes, we do provide product samples. We ask that you pay for the items at a discounted price plus $5 per item for shipping. Call 800.810.4692 for more details or to order samples.

Are the prices on the quote system accurate?

The screenprinting prices are 100% accurate according to your specifications!! If you enter in the correct information, you will get the correct price for your project! To get a 100% accurate quote on your order of designed cups and mugs, you can Upload your artwork and we will be happy to get you a quote.

How/When do I pay?

Broken Arrow requires 100% down before your order is placed. We do not however print ANYTHING without your approval, so you get to check over everything before it's processed.

What happens if I cancel my order

If you cancel your order, we have a $50 cancellation fee as well as a 20% restocking fee for ordered products.

UPS says it's a [X] day ship to my location, can you guarantee it will get to me by then?

We wish we had control over UPS, but unfortunately, we don't. Although we cannot guarantee UPS's shipping times, we can guarantee that we will give it to UPS in the time agreed upon between you and our sales reps. Occasionally, UPS does have delays in their services based on weather or unforeseen issues, so its best to allot yourself a couple of extra days before your deadline.

How much does it cost for Broken Arrow to design my artwork?

We have no art fees for simple and standard art with your custom cup or mug order. Broken Arrow reserves the right to apply a $199 art charge for complex art.

Vector art built in Adobe Illustrator is the best to send us, but we have a wide range of file types we can use. You can visit our Art Information Page for a comprehensive list.

Do you have free shipping?

Yes! We have free shipping for orders less than 145 products via UPS Ground to anywhere in the US, except Alaska or Hawaii. We also provide free shipping to military APO addresses. If you need shipping outside of these parameters, shipping fees may apply.
